Pure Photography in an Age of Digital Manipulation:
We live in a world where nearly every modern published photo is digitally altered in some way or another and although this is something that often enhances the looks of many photos it can also lead to many false opinions. The term
"Pure Photography" is used to describe photos which have not been altered or manipulated, something that I try to adhere to within my own photography. Most of the photography on this site is "as-shot" or with very minimal amounts of manipulation giving a real-life feel to the photos.

The above photo is of the Historic World War II Display at The Bournemouth Air Festival in 2009 available in
this set.
Barefoot Photography, Barefoot in Nature.
The name
'Barefoot Photography' came as an easy option for my photography site. A great deal of my photography is shot around the Dorset Beaches and Coastline which are ideal photographic locations, especially through-out the evenings in spring and summer. I'm often barefoot when out taking photos all year round, especially of the beaches and other natural environments so the name was a natural choice.
All of my photography is taken on high quality Canon digital and film cameras If you would like to know a little more about myself,
