Sunrise at Sand Banks:
This photo was taken at Sunrise, I believe in Spring, 2010. The photo was taken at Sand Banks, near the ferry that crosses over to Shell Bay sometime around 5am with the first blue skies of dawn just starting to show through.
This shot was taken on a Canon EOS 300v 35mm Film Camera. It was shot on 35mm Colour Transparency film which is what helps bring out the strong colours in the blues and high contrast through out the image.
It was quite a long exposure which helped to give a very calm, flat, almost glass-like appearance of the sea.
